Ladders have come to be used a lot around the house. They are used to get to some hard to reach places that would be impossible otherwise. A ladder is essentially a set of steps known as rungs supported by two vertical rods. These ladders, apart from taking us to great heights, also give us stability at these levels.

There are many types of ladders that may be made out of different materials, but the steel ladder is by far the one that is strongest and lightest. These ladders can be used for a variety of purposes around the house. Due to its strength, stability and weight it has come to be one of the most popular and widely used ladders. There are other ladders available though including loft ladders, scaffold towers, extension ladders and telescopic ladders.
Types of ladders:
Loft ladders are present in almost every home. Loft ladders are one of the most extensively used ladders. The loft ladder allows people to access their lofts easily, and can be folded easily into the loft when not in use. Scaffold towers are used for construction purposes and are platforms and pipes held together by fittings. Extension ladders are ladders that are clamped together by the use of a rubber clamp. Telescopic ladders are ladders that can be extended and folded into each other.
